The New Exam, Section by Section
Reading
New types: Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life. Module 1 accuracy sets your score ceiling.
Listening
Listen and Choose a Response is entirely new — note-taking strategy has changed with it.
Writing
Build a Sentence, Write an Email, and a 10-minute Academic Discussion response.
Speaking
The old 4-task format is gone. Now: Listen & Repeat, then an AI-driven Take an Interview task.
New 1.0–6.0 Band Scoring
The old 0–120 scale is retired, replaced by CEFR-aligned bands.
